

Greg Reitz enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Rockets and has helped UT reached the conference semifinals in two straight seasons the last two years for the first time in the program's 27-year history.
Reitz works with the team's outside hitters, in addition to assisting with on-floor coaching, recruiting, scouting and travel. He previously served as a graduate assistant for UT in the 1999-2000 academic year.
A native of Huntington Beach, CA, Reitz spent two years as an assistant coach at UTEP before returning to Toledo. He assisted in all phases of the Miners' program during his time in El Paso, TX, including recruiting, implementing the defense, training the outside hitters and practice preparation.
Prior to his stint at UTEP, Reitz served two years as head women's volleyball coach and strength and conditioning coach for St. Joseph's College, an NCAA Division II school in Rensselaer, IN. Under Reitz, the Pumas produced their first all-conference player in three years.
Reitz, 32, graduated from Long Beach State in 1997 with a degree in kinesiology and then received his master's degree in exercise science from UT in May 2000. During his stay in Toledo, Reitz also served as head coach with the Glass City Volleyball Club for two years.
